The main use-case scenario of whichever full frame I end up buying is daytime and nighttime imaging initially. Considering that this is 2020, should I be considering buying Canon full frames at all? Should I be looking at Nikon instead, and if so, what do you think of the Nikon D800E as a competitor to these two cameras? Both of them I have on hold sit well within my budget. I have a small budget of $700 and I would be buying either of these cameras used. I couldnt pass up the 5d3 for dual card slots and the autofocus tracking for action at weddings/events. Both cameras aren't too apart in terms of resolution - 20MP on the 6D1 and 22MP on the 5D3.

My question - which of these cameras are better suited for astrophotography? I don't intend to mod them right away but I'm sure I will do that a few months down the line. Both these cameras have good life left on the shutter and I wouldn't be losing too much in terms of shutter actuations if I bought either one.
