I really think Track Sprinting is a discipline where Strength Training is a big factor. Most of the info on this in other forums (slow twitch) draws the conclusion that strength training is not bike training and not much benefit to cycling- so they recommend omitting the data. While I'm sure i could still get a sense of how my 'Fitness' would read even without strength workouts playing a role- i would like to try to add them in. Strava makes no allowances for any activity that does not use a power meter. the problem is- As a track sprinter a large amount of my volume during the week is heavy strength training. It was fairly interesting following my level of fitness and fatigue and watching where it was as i peaked. I was able to follow the chart as i built and tapered for my last event of the year.

The software provides for calibration using Keiser's calibration tool. The code makes some use of FreeRTOS and the Nordic nrf libraries that are included in the Adafruit core for the board.

This code is for an Adafruit nrf52840 Express microcontroller and a generic 128ењ†4 OLED display (SH1106 driver in the development system).

If used about an hour per day, runs for a month or two on an 1800 mAHr LiPo battery.

Calibration to an individual bike using a procedure similar the Keiser's, using the Keiser calibration tool.

Command line 'console,' accessible via USB or Bluetooth, used mostly for one-time calibration but also providing some debugging functions.

FTMS (typical for ergometers and trainers) - power, resistance setting, and cadence (though no apps I have tried to date read the resistance, and all I have tried want to set the resistance (resistance servo on the 'some day' list!)).

CPS (typical for power meters) - power and cadence.

Battery level, with low battery indicator.

Power estimates replicate those from Keiser's V4.06 computer.
